Kitchen Line Cook – Job in Dubai.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Line Cook – Job in Dubai.. to join our culinary team in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation and Cooking

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection, with attention to taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Follow standardized recipes and procedures to maintain consistency across all dishes.
  • Handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Kitchen Operations

  • Keep your workstation clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.

    Have proper food storage and labeling to avoid spoilage and cross-contamination.

    Check levels of inventory and aid in stock rotation to reduce waste.

    Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen personnel to facilitate efficient operations.

    Communicate clearly with staff members to coordinate orders and deliver on service times.

    Help train new kitchen staff and exchange best practices.

Quality Control

  • To make sure food satisfies requirements for flavor and quality, taste and examine it.
  • Resolve any food preparation concerns as soon as possible.
  • At all times, make sure that food safety and hygiene regulations are followed.

Menu Development

  • Contribute creative ideas for new menu items, specials, and seasonal dishes.
  • Assist in testing and refining new recipes to enhance the menu.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Handle special requests and dietary restrictions with care and attention.
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes to meet guest expectations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic to contribute to a pleasant dining experience.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Culinary Skills: Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.

    Time Management: Capacity to work effectively under pressure and achieve tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Education: Culinary school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
  • Certifications: Food safety and hygiene certification (e.g., HACCP) is preferred.
  • Language: Basic English communication skills (additional languages are a bonus).

Work Environment

  • Fast-Paced: The role requires working in a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Team-Oriented: Collaboration and communication with kitchen staff are essential.
  • Physical Demands: The role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in hot conditions.
